A board where good ideas rise. And duplicates get caught.

Customers post ideas, vote and comment on a board for each part of your product. You moderate, reply once as the team and set a status. Every vote comes from a verified participant, and each participant gets one.

Ideas find their duplicates before they are posted.

The best moment to stop a duplicate is while the title is being typed. Try it: the box below suggests ideas from a sample board.

  • People see similar ideas while they type a title.
  • A suggestion opens the existing idea, so they vote for it instead of posting again.
  • Duplicates that slip through are merged later, and the votes and follows move to the idea you keep.

No AI is involved. It is a search of the board for similar titles, and a person decides.

Sample ideas, not real data. Nothing you type here is saved.

Votes, images and comments that stay readable.

The parts customers touch every day, with the limits that keep a board trustworthy.

One vote each, from someone verified

Every vote belongs to a verified participant of that product, and a person can take theirs back. Voting closes for statuses that close it, such as Done.

Images on ideas and comments

Attach PNG, JPEG or WebP images. IvaBoard checks the file itself, re-encodes it and strips its metadata, and authors write the alt text.

Comments in Markdown

Write with Markdown. Raw HTML is not allowed. Replies go one level deep, so a thread stays readable.

Reply as the team, and keep notes to yourselves.

Customers read one clear answer. Your team keeps the context.

Official response
One pinned, badged reply per idea. It sits above the thread so customers see the team position first.
Internal notes
Notes only your staff can read, next to the idea. They never appear on the board.
Statuses
Open, Planned, In progress, Done and Declined. Rename the labels and change the order to fit your team.
Search, filters and tags
Find ideas by words, status or tag. Internal tags stay hidden from customers.

Internal note, staff only

Asked by two enterprise leads. Check with finance before we promise a date.

Sample idea. The internal note is never shown on the public board.

Control what appears, per board.

Moderation is a queue, not a chore. Each board has its own rules.

  1. New ideas can wait for review

Set a board to hold new ideas until someone approves them. Ideas from your own product through the API can skip the queue.

  2. Approve, hide or mark as spam

The moderation queue shows what is waiting. Hidden and spam ideas never appear on the public board.

  3. Edit, merge or answer

Staff can edit an idea, merge a duplicate, add an official response and change the status from the same page.

Public or private
A board can be public or private.
Submissions closed
Keep a board readable and votable while you stop new ideas.
Voting off
Switch voting off on a board that only collects comments.
Staff submit for customers
Add an idea on behalf of a customer who wrote to you.

Feedback board questions, answered plainly.

  • Do my customers need an account to vote?

Customers confirm their email with a code, or you sign them in from your own app with the sign-in handoff. Either way they become a verified participant of that one product.

Anyone can read a public board. Posting, voting and commenting need a verified participant.

  • Is there a limit on voters?

No. Voters and team members are unlimited on every plan.

  • Does IvaBoard use AI to find duplicates?

No. The suggestions come from searching the board for similar titles while people type. You decide whether two ideas are the same, and merging is a staff action.

  • Can I bring ideas over from another tool?

Yes. Import a CSV of ideas, votes and comments into a board. See multi-product workspaces for the details.
