Show what is planned.Tell people when it ships.

Every idea has one of five statuses. Your public roadmap shows what is planned, in progress and done, and a changelog entry tells the people who asked for it.

Five statuses, one public roadmap.

You change a status in one click. The public roadmap has three columns: Planned, In progress and Done.

Open
Where a new idea starts. People can vote.
Planned
You mean to build it.
In progress
You are building it now.
Done
It shipped. Voting closes.
Declined
You will not build it, and you can say why.

Five statuses come ready to use. Rename the labels and change their order to fit your team. Open and Declined ideas stay on the board.

Changelog entries that point at what shipped.

A release note is more useful when it names the ideas behind it. Each entry lists them, and the people who followed those ideas are told.

  • Link the ideas an entry shipped, so the people who asked can find it.
  • Publish now, or give the entry a time and schedule it.
  • When an idea is marked Done, a draft entry is started for you to finish.
  • Choose per change whether followers get an email.

Dark mode is here

Choose light, dark, or follow your system. Charts and exports keep their colours.

  • Dark mode for the dashboard128 votes
  • Follow the system theme34 votes

3 followers get an email when this publishes.

Followers hear about it, in the right words.

Emails are tied to events, so people get what they asked for and nothing else.

Follow an idea
People choose to follow, with one control. Following is never a side effect of voting.
One email per event
New comment, reply, status change, shipped, declined, and a release. Each uses the same clear layout.
Your product, your accent
The email comes from your product name, in your accent colour, with one button and a fallback link.
Unsubscribe
Every email has an unsubscribe link and a one-click header. People can switch kinds off one at a time.

Your team stays in the loop too.

Staff emails link to the console and never act from a link.

Weekly digest on Monday

Your team gets a summary over the products each person can see. Owners and admins also get workspace-wide lines.

Per-idea staff emails

New ideas go to owners and admins by default, ideas waiting for moderation go to moderators, and new comments are opt-in.

Easy to stop

The digest has a one-click unsubscribe, a footer link and a settings page in the console.

Embed it without JavaScript.

Put the roadmap or the changelog on your own site. Voting and commenting open on the portal.

  • Three read-only embeds: the roadmap, the changelog and one changelog entry.
  • No script to load. They are plain pages in an iframe.
  • Only the websites you list can frame them.
  • They follow your accent colour and the visitor's light or dark setting.

Embed the roadmap in your own page, with sample values

<iframe
  src="https://<your portal address>/embed/<publicProductKey>/roadmap"
  title="Product roadmap"></iframe>

Also available: the changelog list and a single changelog entry.

Roadmap and changelog questions, answered plainly.

  • Can I keep my roadmap private?

Yes. A product can have a private portal, and then nobody outside your team and invited participants sees its boards, roadmap or changelog.

  • Can I schedule a changelog entry?

Yes. Give the entry a publish time and it goes out then. Until that moment it stays a draft.

  • How do people stop the emails?

Every email has an unsubscribe link, and mail apps get a one-click unsubscribe header. People can also switch off each kind of email on its own.

  • Does voting sign someone up for email?

No. Following an idea is a separate, explicit choice. People who follow an idea hear about comments, status changes and the release that ships it.
