White-label runs your feedback portal at an address you own, such as ideas.acme.com, and names your product wherever a customer reads: the browser tab, shared links and the pages themselves. IvaBoard adds no "powered by" mark.
How a custom domain works.
You keep your domain and your DNS host. You add two records, and IvaBoard does the rest.
Claim a subdomain
In your product's domain settings, enter a subdomain you control, such as ideas.acme.com. IvaBoard shows the records to add.
Add the DNS records
At your DNS host, add the address record and the TXT record from your console. Copy them exactly as shown, and keep the TXT record once the domain works.
IvaBoard checks and turns on HTTPS
When your records are found, the certificate is set up and renewed for you. When the status reads Active, the portal is live.

What white-label changes.
It changes the names a customer and a search engine read. The portal itself works the same.

Your colour and your logo, in the portal and in email.
Pick one of five accent colours per product, add your logo, and your portal comes in light and dark themes. The accent colour also carries into the emails your followers get.
Send email from your own domain.
By default, update emails come from IvaBoard's address with your product name as the sender name. With a verified sending domain they come from your own address, such as ideas@acme.com.
Verification means a customer's mail app can check that the email really came from your domain. A sending domain needs white-label, so it comes with Scale and the White-label lifetime tiers.
Add your domain
In Settings, open Email domains and enter the domain you send from.
Publish the records
Add the ownership record and the signing records the console shows, then press Check now.
Send a test, then activate
Send yourself a test email and look at who it is from and whether the signature passed. When it looks right, activate the domain.
Which plans include it.
A custom domain and white-label are separate. Growth has one custom domain, but its page titles still end with IvaBoard.

Can I use my root domain, like acme.com?
Use a subdomain such as ideas.acme.com. It leaves your main site where it is.
Do I have to move my DNS to IvaBoard?
No. You add records at your current DNS host and keep full control of your domain.
Where do customers sign in?
Customers who sign in with an email code confirm it on app.ivaboard.com and come straight back to your domain, and those emails name IvaBoard. Customers you sign in from your own app with the handoff never leave your domain.
Does white-label come with a custom domain?
They are separate switches. Scale and the White-label lifetime tiers include both. Growth includes one custom domain without white-label.
